New Independent Opinion by Authoritative Scholars on WBG’s Member States’ and IFC’s and IBRD’s Climate Change Legal Obligations

In November 2025, Bank Climate Advocates and 15 other civil society organisations wrote a letter to World Bank Group (WBG) management and shareholders, highlighting a new legal opinion on the legal climate change obligations of the members states of the WBG and IFC.
